This is the last episode of the Back to the Basics Series and I hope you’ve enjoyed it. In today’s episode, I’m discussing what I like to call the “Bare Minimum Syndrome”. No, this isn’t an actual illness, but it can cripple the results that you’re expecting on your job.

Here are the 4 ways to avoid doing the bare minimum:

  1. Understand that it’s not (just) about you.
  2. Be honest about why you aren’t doing more.
  3. Avoid procrastination.
  4. Keep your focus.

I also spoke a bit about focus and lack thereof. An amazing resource that has helped me stay on track of my focus is the book The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. I highly recommend reading this book and you can get this book using my Amazon Affiliate link to receive the most current discount (please note that this discount is for a limited time and it can also change at any time without notice):
