The key is to point out what employees are doing correctly more often than what they’re doing incorrectly.

  • Speak praise as much as you do problems.
  • Regularly acknowledge great work and above average efforts.
  • Be consistent so employees expect to be addressed for doing great and not only when something is wrong.
